another dawn shot of the SeaCliff Bridge looking south this time… the rosy glow of the dawn light render this as something almost impressionistic…

Ah Juilee, that’s just magical light.

Wow! Love that curve drawing you into the image. Beautiful composition and tones, and I love that dense mist/cloud on the right. :-D

  • hi Adriana… it’s a dramatic and powerfully beautiful bit of coastline for sure.. and there was a bit of sea mist that burnt off quite quickly but I was lucky to just get that little window where all the cliffs were dark and rosy at the same time… I’m going to put up some more tomorrow… so glad you like it

Excellent image. Its one of the things I miss about Oz that you see massive man made construction set against dramatic natural landscape. Used to love driving out of Sydney going to god knows where along massive highways that had been cut through huge red rock hills etc.Bet there’s lots of folk out there take it all for granted but not the artists eh ?

  • hi Philmore and thanks… and yes the Eastern coast of Oz has some spectacular aspects… the highways cut through the huge hills might be on the way North to Newcastle I’m thinking and that is a beautiful drive indeed… I"m down the south coast a bit and it’s a place of really staggering beauty in places… this bridge is quite new and juts out over the sea to avoid rock falls from the cliffs and it’s really something else… very very beautiful

  • yes give yourself a treat… I get up early and go with a thermos of tea… watch the dawn at Bald Hill and then walk over the bridge… such a great way to start the day
