Planeta Tierra by Juilee Pryor
Clear

I’ve recently spent a bit of time in Antarctica as an Artist-in-Residence which has been a whole lot of fun. But that was only part of my adventure. On my way there and back again I was privileged to spend time in Buenos Aries and I just loved it. I’d go back in a flash to really spend time just absorbing that marvelous amazing and very beautiful city. This is a snapshot of a newspaper stand shot early one morning as I strolled through this teeming city. Its shot with Ilford HP5 on a very battered old SLR and the image really seems to be in harmony with its method of capture. Like a peek backwards to a different time and place.

Thanks Pat and I agree. I think the womans legs actually make the photo to be honest. Life goes on were ever it is taking place and she really sums that up for me.

Buenos Aires is the bees knees as cities go – so much to absorb and investigate. This is a great image as a prelude to your adventure!
