What an amazing series of images ! I think this may be my favourite but the others are absolutely knockout too so it’s hard to decide. Great great work.
hey thanks heaps Philmore I’m so glad you like them… they are so old now and the colours are so true and rich still…. I’m pretty pleased with them to be honest
I sense a soulfulness, maybe even some sadness about her in this one Juilee – I feel like I want to cry looking at this one (so maybe it’s me that’s sad???)Anyway – of the 3, even though the golden glow is still so beautiful, I find this one more difficult to look at – much more painful somehow…K x
hi DragonFlyer and thanks… she was posing for me inside a sculpural exhibition and just seems to have really blended with it somehow…. and she was a great model being intense as well as striking ….I’m really glad people are enjoying them as that seems right somehow to share them and remember what was
Love each of these Pics Juilee. This one is the saddest, though I did not know your sister these pics affect me quite a lot.
hi Andrew and thanks for your comment… maybe the filter and that I’ve used and the look of the image is a bit sort of fairytale and idealised somehow and that may be were the emotional connection comes in to it…not sure but I’m pleased that people are responding to them…
Quite ethereal Juilee, love the series
hey there Geraldine and thanks heaps… sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you… been a bit tyed up with work… but I still appreiciate your comments……:)
