– Juilee Pryor
I really love the middle one and the far right, I think those two together as a diptych would totally rock! Great work as always Juilee. How you going with getting your work together for the Ballarat festival by the way?
thanks jem… I"m liking how the oval shape forms with the outside two… but it looks different to everybody I’m sure….
ahhh yeah! totally see that now. yep liking it more (not that I didn’t like it before)
yes the more you look at it you can see the oval of opposites emerging from the elements of the image…. and thanks……:)
middle and right work best for me-the sweeping kerb lines lead the eye nicely into the area of devastation!
thanks Roy…. it’s so tricky to get that final balance to an image…. and yes the sweeping kurb lines are working for me…..:)
great yes great…but I want to see them bigger! and I like the curves and stuff but what about four up as a block or just by themselves as well so I can see them big?
hi Soxy and yes bigger is the key to these I think… and a block of four… hmmm I’ll think about that suggestion… it could look really good actually….. thanks……:)
maybe you just ned to flip that one on the right and put it on the left of the three …the tones of those two don’t match the one on the left…you shouldn’t have asked Juileee!!!!! all of us have suggestions!!
yes I know aboutthe tonal thing but it’s the line of the curves I was more looking at… anyway these are like mock ups so I’ll just keep fiddling about…..:)
cool work – i like the images individually and as a group!
thanks berndt2 they are ok as single images but they just needed some extra ommpphh somehow…. I don’t mind the look of them like this to be honest…. thanks for having a look ……:)
i love old industrial, these are great, spacious and full of character…
thanks Linda and like you I love old industrial sites… they are so rewarding to photograph so full of complexity and character… glad you like these….:)
they also tend to make you feel older when you say stuff like. ‘wow i remember when that field was full of sheep/cows’…. and ‘i used to go past this field on the old school bus’…. tee hee…. :>))
