well the title says it all… this time the background emulsion of this 15 year old film has gone all brown and green… no joke I can’t even imagine how stressed this film got while it rested in a big box of old negatives for decades waiting for me to get to it…. and coz it’s been so long since I even thought about it… I can’t remember which way up the moon was…. straight scan from the neg with a bit of resizing and that’s all folks

ha yes maybe that’s the thing… it’s meteor’s not moons…. it’s such a laugh… it’s actually quite tricky to get a good shot of the moon.. technically and all that… but you can download a perfect shot from all over the place for free in like about ten seconds…. so when I found these shots amoung my old negs… I was just so happy that they were ….crappy….. if you know what I mean…. they have their own uniqueness…. they really look like something I would shoot….. and they are real … no fiddling and no texture screens … just straight off the neg to RB…. love that…..:)
and if you ever need a really bad shot of the moon for something then just let me know and I’ll send you a high res copy……:)

thanks Helen… and yes indeed… perfection can be dull sometimes… well that’s what I tell my self inorder to feel better about how much work I’ve got that is just really grotty… oh well…. not to worry… worse things to think about in the world today… two icons of my generation dead before there time… neither perfect and neither will be quickly forgotten either… vale and all that

oh ha ha yes Helene that’s most likely what will happen anyway… I"ve got boxes and boxes of negatives and all my dads stuff to sort through so it will most likely be 15 before I get back to them again….. cheers
