I'm not interested in your dopey religious cult

it’s a dull day… all raining and stuff…. hard to get going with the real work so I thought I’d just idle away a bit of time with a little tee shirt design…..

oh and you may want to put this up to large view to really take in all the subtlety of the text…...:)

Oh dear, Juiles, please refer to page 1071 of the Concise Macquarie Dictionary – it may well be a religious experience.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi sweetie…somedays it all flows and work just happens… and somedays you may as well just curl up on the lounge and read a book…. like today and the book is next…. but I do like latin and it can be used to make really funny statements that just need to go on tee shirts…..:)

there is nothing like a bit of cranky foot stamping god bothering in the forums and a wet day on top of it to get me coming up with really really bad latin tee shirts….sorry about that… I mean don’t take to seriously….. but still…. you know…..:)

teehee My husband once turned the water hose on some religious cult recruiters who could not accept that he was not interested in joining their club. This is a great shirt.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi there Helen and thanks babe…. it came about after some argy bargy in the forums from some full on christian types who just could not or would not understand that their personal brand of god bothering is not an art movement….. and that their particular type of dogmatic propaganda does not belong on the front page of a global Art Site… no point in trying to talk to people who resort to riddles and righteousness over logic…. so time for another silly latin tee shirt…..:)

LOL I took a little foray into the forum toward the end of the excitement. Some people just can’t accept that the entire world does not accept the Word. I have little patience for the dogmatic propaganda. And there sure seems to be a lot of it about this place.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

yes I know it was on the verge of becoming quite unpleasant and going very pear shaped…. a bit too much totally out of order foot stamping and talking in tounges in order to bully management to acede to their demands….I bailed when it was clear that logic wasn’t going to work and that there was always going to be an obsure bible passage to be found that ‘proved’ why christian propaganda should be forced onto the homepage….. I mean yes it’s very desirable to get a homepage slot…. but if RB can do this whole adventure in cyberspace without advertising then that has to hold for politics and religion…. of any type…. no coke ads… no christian/buddist/zionist/islamic dogma and most definetly no discussion or advertizing weather implyed or overt of anything political…... lets leave it at art and poetry and chatting and yakking and suchlike ….... much more civilized that way for everyone in the whole universe to come over and play …...

I absolutely agree! I do a lot of political art and writing, and I have no expectation that RB will even consider any of my political art for the home page. If political and religious art hits the home page then it could be taken as an endorsement by RB. None of us wants that to happen. . . ever.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

indeed….and there are loads of places in the bubble for anyone to have a group about anything they want…. it’s not stopped… everyone’s beliefs and passions are catered for… but not on the front door…. and that would go for the Blue room and NSFW groups etc etc as well…. but they and the various religious or right wing or left wing or no wings at all groups just need to be content with having their own spaces and not putting their respective dogmas in everyone elses face….... great that RB has the final call on it and Red makes pretty good choices while letting everyone join in and be part of it all…. works for me….. :)
