The train cometh.....
This photo was taken at Central Station in Sydney with another of my eccentric little cameras…this time a tiny little Russian Lomo…The camera is about the size of a packet of cigarettes and was originally developed by the Russians as as spy camera…. It never really worked all that well as a spy camera being somewhat large for the task at hand and unreliable as all get out but eventually the arty farty camera tragic fraternity found out about it and it was a big hit with them…
I got an authentic and numbered one fairly recently and have been doing some road tests on it in order to take it with me to Antarctica. This is the first chance I’ve had to post some of the results from it here on Redbubble ..hope you like them… I’m quite impressed myself and am looking forward to using it to spy on some penguins while I’m away :)

gee thanks guys ..:) I’m having a lot of fun with my toy cameras at the moment which you can probably tell I guess….
Hey Andew one of the rolls of film I lost after the Sydney group meet up was taken with this tiny camera and I was so bummed out about it as I though I’d gotten off a few half way decent shots on it.. Anyway I’ve been so busy with Uni and life etc that I this is the first time I’ve had a chance to get another roll of film through it … and I’m really pleased with the results… :) which perversely makes me even more sad at the thought of what I lost that time…. :( oh well thats life I guess.
Andrew Bosman
I can see why you’d be upset… this little baby has a uniqueness like nothing else I’ve seen.
We’ll just have to have another meet up soon so you can do it all again!
Merry Chrissy JP…

Dark, Muddy, Wet, Wild and wonderful? Oh yeah… rub it in why doncha? =))
Juilee Pryor
Now this is your opportunity to come to Sydney and crawl about in flooded chambers and old disused tunnels under Cental and St James station….. go on you know you want to do this….:)
Patricia L. Ba...
I agree with all of the above. It gives a wonderful sense of motion. BTW, shots of the subway in NY are no longer allowed. At least if there’s security close by.
marco britti
Great shot Juliee!
Juilee Pryor
thanks marco and Patricia….. I am amazed and a bit shocked to hear that you can’t take photo’s on the subway in NY…. why not? I guess its the paranoia of terrorism or something but really to ban just ordinary photos is so harsh…. how can that hurt anyone? so sad….
Dave Aarons

A ripper. But also bustin’ to hear about the plan for another stint in Antarctica. A journal entry on the juicy details would be sweet.
Juilee Pryor replied
hiya Col… and thanks… and I”m always planning to go back to Antarctica… that place is like a drug or an itch so bad… my next OS trip is going to be to Timor though…sometime before Xmas…. in fact if it all works out I may go and work there next year… why not and all that…and I will post about that as it becomes an actuality…. :)
