Wow – how many layers does this image have? And all without the use of PS! What a wonderful legacy you’ve stumbled upon here Juilee!

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi Adriana … well there are no layers… the slide projection hits the bodies of the two models and that’s the image… it’s all in camera and this is straight of the negatives…. and they are big negs too so the equvilant pixel ratio is huge…. so they can be enlarged to a massive size with no loss of quality…. I’m so lucky to have found these and to have to chance to show them…... :)

Oh, exactly – no playing with digital layers, but there are so many facets to this particular photograph (maybe I used the wrong wording…)

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi Adriana and I know what you mean… and that’s completely valid….. most satisfying things have various layers of complextity to them…. so well done you for sensing that….. it’’s a bit of a puzzle this one though…..:)

wow, juilee, i see that you have a very talented family when it comes to photography. this series your dad did is very impressive and so inspirational. i would love to try something like this. it’s very 70’s, flower power type stuff. hehe
this image in particular has a very abstract feel to it.
fantastic work babe and more power to you for giving this work some recognition. ;-) xox

Clever man your Dah Juliee. Breaking up the alignment of the stripes is what really works for me.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

thanks Col and yes the stripes are all over the place and you really need to work at working out what is going on…..and yes Dad was very clever….. how cool is that hey…. :)
