she’s like a living god… or living statue or somesuch thing… the next one I put up is my other fav… she’s a total budda in the next one…. these are such fun….. so glad your enjoying them as well…...:)

a displacement map…. oh my goodness I don’t know what that is…. I think I need more ps lessons…. but still you know what… analogue is so easy and the results are just fine…these are medium format negs so 2 and a quarter square… which has a huge massive pixel ratio…....for quality I always lean towards film and as you can see here… these photos are twenty plus years old and the negs are impeccable…. and the next one is coming up and it’s worth it in my own opinion … wouldn’t it be good to get people together from time to time for some masterclasses…... you can show me displacement maps and I’ll bring a projector….... :)

oh I am soooo with you there miss Mel…. the lightroom takes up most of my time these days…. although still love my cyanotypes and suchlike…... analogue is so physically involving…. which is great…. and odd unexpected things happen and you never quite figure out what happened with analogue…... and I do like a bit of the randomness of life….. next one the little budda coming up soon…. thanks heaps MM…. miss mel…....:)

hi ShadowDancer and yes it does look all thick and creamy like body paint… but much easier in the long run I think… it would have taken hours and hours and hours to do each one if it was paint….. the positioning is the key to this though as you say….. and yes he did a great job of that…..:)

that sounds great JohnOfLightning…. maybe when one stops dreaming and is also enlightened then that is when one dies or passes through to the next plane of existance….. who knows… we can only think about the ramifications of that sort of philosophic wisdom…..
