thanks Matt… it’s so exciting to be able to present these images…. they wouldn’t have seen the light of day for more than 20 years I’d say….. and there are some more to come… some really out there…... :)

Absolutely loving these…..I spend much of my working life trying to view the body as a canvas so these images have great impact for me…amazing !

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi Philmore and thanks… they are fresh out of a time warp…. and there are some even more exotic ones coming up… and there are some portraits as well which are something else too… and all on medium format film which is why they are square… I’m sooo happy with these shots…. woo hoo…. hey did you get your tee shirt yet?

I think I like the cropped version the best-the dark line on the right distracts a little, for me.

    Bloody marvellous work though!

  • Juilee Pryor replied

hi Roy barry and thanks… I had a real dilemma with the cropped version… the dark line on the right is the limit of the slide projection so it kind of indicates that it’s not a digital layer I guess which could be the case with the cropped version… mind you I think the cropped version is stronger as an image somehow… not to worry… really glad you like these … I’m going to put some more up today as well…. :)

    Andrew Makowi...

Really great work Juilee and I am enjoying this series of your Fathers work a lot..

I am always amazed at the inventive techniques that were used pre digital.

I think using a projector is food for thought. Its so much more hands on and personal than a computer add on afterwards.

  • Juilee Pryor replied

thanks andymak…. yes Dad was really innovative and a master of his craft as well…. he probably forgot more that I ever really knew in the first place to be honest but there you go…. and yes working with slides is very exciting for sure…. you should give it a go… I reckon you would love it and do some really lovely work as well…...:)
