hi Dayonda and thanks…. it is emotional stuff…dark but it is refering to a very violent story I heard once…. I was just recreating it with these shots….. and I’ll check out the group although these images are pretty full on….. thanks again for checking these out…...

hey Jayca… and thanks…. kind of thought you might like this one as well…. not putting the last two up though…enough is enough….and these are just soooo old…. older than you honey child that’s for sure…. guess that just goes to show that some themes are eternal somehow….. but if a thing has power then that will last….

oh haha Matt… you know I only do kittens as skishkabob in a nice peaut sauce….and the sun rises over water near me so I don’t do sunsets either…. oh well…. and you know what…. I have more dark stuff coming up…. it’s leading somewhere…... :)

thanks Jayca…. I don’t really eat kittens … it’s kind of me being cynical about all the pretty empty over saturated snapshots that dominate this site…. I’d rather a bad shot that is going somewhere and where you can see someone is actually thinking outside the square that the same old same old copy of some safe subject that every one is doing and feels safe and superior about….. sheesh like you can’t tell when somethings come out of a generic photoshop tutorial … no joke…. same as the endless pages of exactly the same style teeshirt that get featured here…. I don’t find life one big bit of fairy floss all the time and like things around me that refect that….. a bit of darkness helps emphasise the light….

really glad you can see where I’m coming from with this older work….. it’s were I started out…. much the same stage as you are now at I would estimate…..

hi butch… and thanks…. the softness of the technique does kind of make it more extreme somehow … funny thing that…. and yes that old plaid sunbed…. it’s just so ordinary and commonplace that it sort of adds to the horror of the image as well…. really glad you like this funny old set of images…. they were taken soooo long ago…. still work though so that’s good…..:)

hi Roy barry and thanks heaps…. these were taken a really long time ago but you know if you don’t indulge in ‘fashion’ but sort off aim for something a little deeper or different…. stuff never goes out of fashion…. the theme in this series is human nature…. so it’s timeless I guess

haha…thanks heaps Cathleen… the new stuff is like 25 years old…. analouge from when I first chuffed of to art school and all that…. what’s old will always come back into vouge if you hang on to it long enough….. you have to laugh….well I’m having a little giggle anyhow…... but really delighted you like this stuff…. very different to the cutesy wootsy stuff that seems to be every where else at the moment…... I just never seem to sit right in the moment…oh well…..:)

the guy in this shot is the same guy in the dementoids shots… great model… just amazing… nothing he wouldn’t do…. and yes if your going to do dark stuff… you need to have some experience of dark….. and this was the time ….. thanks dimarie
