thought for the day.... stop driving
just a random snap of a graffittied Stop sign in one the tiny tangled back streets in Newtown…. and it makes a lot of sense to me…. if we all stopped driving so much it might have an impact on climate change….. and it’s climate change that is behind the blinding fury of the devasting holcoust of fire that is laying waste to most of Victoria at the moment…. so this is my thought for the day…. please if your just going down to the shops for some milk and suchlike… how about you just walk instead…. ?

hi ya Helen….. it is a good idea hey….. I love walking around looking in peoples gardens and that…. more interesting in the city too…. and the front yards are soooo much smaller that it’s a lot more fun….. :)

I love driving too Jayca but in the inner city like this …. it’s pretty hairy sometimes… and sometimes it’s quicker to walk…. :)

Brilliant! I walk everywhere in nice weather. I put Malcolm in the stroller and walk to the market. No need to drive if I’m going less than a mile or so. Great photo!

hi Helen… and you know what… I walk everywere too… I like to nosy into every ones gardens and talk to cats and such like…. and I thought this sign was really funny…. so obvious yet still so oblivious to most people….. glad you like this little slice of life in the inner city…..:)
