Thanks Antanas. These latest pinup shots are all quite old and all analouge so its really cool to find that it really doesn’t matter somehow. A stiking shot stays just that no matter the method of caputre. :)

Love the contrast of the soft skin amongst the rough, hard environment. Wonderful interpretation of the classic pinups.

Very impressive shot….it has a tone that reminds me of Man Ray’s photo’s of the model in the print studio….though I can’t think why !

Amusing composition and nice model – This reminds me a little of ‘Miss Bonk’, the annual calendar ‘pin-up girl’ of the mid 20th century European heavy engineering company, Bonk Industries.

thanks gregoryno6 yes inconguity is a wonderful thing. this particular model just seemed to suit last minute inclusion of the umbrella. this was actually one of the priminary warm up shots just to get her comfortable for the nude shoot that followed. all the elements just magically came together. it’s so great when that happens and it doesn’t always. thanks everybody once again.

Certainly compelling – so much going on here – so many questions – and she and
her retro clothing really do demand attention ! Fine work juilee!

I wouldn’t call it naughty exactly (but that word means different things to different people)...

I do see a lot of humour in this image, and think it’s very nicely judged and balanced.

There’s certainly ‘attitude’ – but then it’s hard to take entirely seriously someone in such an uncompromising get-up! in an incongruous setting… (but I love the old big ironwork of the foundry).

These are wonderful qualities, quirky and offbeat and stylish, and actually a very beautiful model and outfit and composition.
