bad hair day
well my first upload to Redbubble in three weeks….. I needed a little time out to think about my place in this sprawling community and the way it makes me feel as an artist trying to engage with others and be heard over the din of all the other popular groups and personalities here….. there seems to be a real undercurrent of smut and stupidity out there lately in bubbleland and this ancient analouge image is pefect representation of how the volume and noise of that makes me feel at times…...

hmmm maybe but when it seems like that is all there is then it’s just boring and purile and pointless and there is no point trying to be part of that…nor compete with it either….. so I’m not going to try to…. I’m just going to float my own boat for my own reasons from now on and try not to get so annoyed with not really real people out there in cyber space…...

hey thanks Mel….. sometimes you just need to step back a bit but in the end ….. I’ve just got way to many images to show to give up on the chance to share that RB affords me….... and this image…. I is from my very early artschool days….. plaster casting body parts I believe…. anyway its a bit of a laugh now….glad you like i Mel….

another brilliant image Juilee, this is how I feel at the moment trying to get my head around how people can abandon little kittens for them to fend for themsleves – not only being cruel to them, but causing long term harm by expanding the feral cat population tenfold or more. It makes me want to scream!

Nice to see you back. I know and understand how you feel about RB. Sometimes I just wonder about where some of the images are heading. I guess I offset that with the great art and works I see on here and the really nice people I come into contact with.
