Landscape for Orson Wells # 3: Stack

this is the next in my current series of uploads. All of these IR landscapes were were shot at the old Reshes site on Lachlan street in Sydney some years back when it was being demolished. I took quite a lot of photo’s of the site over a period of time but waited till the sky was just so to use the infrared film…... it just seems to bring out all the latent drama trapped within the mundane….

    gee thanks Steve….. and yes I’m attracted to dark landscapes but that’s mostly because the light is so much clearer in the dark….and it’s light utimately that I’m interested in. So glad you like this….. I think you’ll like the next one….stay tuned….:)

    hey there Patricia….. you have been quiet lately…. glad your back though…. this series of IR landscapes are a bit spooky hey…. unreal even which is odd as they are all straight photo’s no manipulation at all…..... but hey that’s the beauty of IR…...:)

    hi Jen and thanks…. I like to think that I look and I see…. and I’m happy to go out armed with nothing more scary that a battered old SLR and waste a few shots here and there…. and those random engagements with the world has left me with the odd OK shot…... cheers chick…..:)

    hi Alvin and thanks again… these buildings no longer actually exist so to say they are post-industrial is totally correct… are they and indication of the post-apocalyptic… I don’t really know but I guess time will tell….. so glad you like this series of work…..cheers
