Thanks Paul. I actually scanned a 10×8 cibachrome print to start out with this image. Then kept degrading in photoshop, Its really beautiful as a straight glossy print though as well as how I’ve treated it here.

I love the contrast and the composition. The burst-up white in the model’s hair actually works really well too. Nice one!

Thanks Jessica. I worried about that for a while. Adding the text and deliberately making the image look old and battered like I have. The original image is pristine and I have exhibited it and sold it for heaps. Mind you a big glossy cibachrome print that’s framed in dark heavy wood is always something special. So I guess I had some fun with the treatment I gave to the image to post here on RB. I’m so glad you like it :)

Man you are a talent! Fantastic take on the “fashion” theme – model embodying both the passive object of interest (as is the usual case for conventional fashion shots) and something much more interesting and subversive – powerful female creative energy embodied in both her pose with its latent “ready to spring” energy and the position of her camera. And the word just completes it. LOVE IT.
