ooooo I love the space and the horizon in this with the little wing tip just jutting into frame…. its nice too because it follows the curve of the tarmac paint….. I am serious about the colour in these, really sublime….almost dream like. Have you touched them up in photoshop much?

hi jem thanks heaps and no I haven’t really done anything in photoshop…..little bit of cleaning up and a tiny increase in contrast and such like….. nothing I wouldn’t do in a darkroom…... its just the magic of early morning light…....so soft somehow…...

I love this one, Juilee. Something about the composition makes the shot so compelling.

yes I’m an urban terrorist…... I reckon one good frame of film with one really outstanding photo on it is more dangerous than one bullet….... :)

  • MuscularTeeth

MuscularTeethMontage Magician, about 1 month ago

    oh by far.
except for the poor person who receives said bullet.
    :)

Juilee P Pryor in reply to MuscularTeeth’s comment, about 1 month ago

that is exactly the point…. one bullet gets maybe one person…... one photo or artwork gets maybe millions of people…..so its much more dangerous to be in possesion of a camers …particularlly if you know how to use it and know the difference between looking (which we all do) and seeing ( which hardly anyone does )

ah yes but that one individual who loses their life, would probably argue that a million photos wont give his/her life back.
its the same arguement then regarding torture – would you murder one person to save thousands? well perhaps, but that one poor bugger who cops it wont think so.
    :)
and the looking vs seeing – thats something that sherlock holmes said.
    :)

cocaine and opium depending on what he was writing…... Conan Doyle that is anyway….. same thing from my point of view

hi lawford….no these couple of images were together in a folder of other stuff I was working with and I’d forgotten about them…... they must be about three years old and I was going to Adelaide I think…....
