Winter Brook Falls NW Coast Tasmania
What a fantastic trek this was to Winterbrook Falls, NW Tasmania. Pretty Winterbrook Falls from the base of Black Bluff. The track to the falls starts at the car park about 15 kilometres south of Leven Canyon. The walk is about 1 3/4 hours each way mostly through myrtle forest. The going is a fairly tough uphill climb for the last 20 minutes to the lookout from where the picture above is taken. It is about another 10 minutes to the base of the falls.

Yes, Cheryl it was a fantastic day. this was the first tim my husband Tim (left) had tried using time delay shots with his new camera. It was a challenge for him to get back up the steep incline in time for the shot…...we all had lots of laughs. :)))

Fantastic day Josie – one we will all remember forever. So many photographic opportunities but we had to consider the time to get to and fro. Great place to go after a good rain for the waterfall shots…..a return trip next year!
