Artist's Description

I have put together a collage to show the before and after of a photo restoration I have done for my Mother in Law. (mind you I know I am not expert in restorations) but there is a reasonable improvement as there weren’t too many good pixels left being such an old photo (estimating 90 -100 years old).
A little information about the man in the photo:
His name was James Banks Cairnduff (Grandfather of my Mother in law).. He served in Egypt as one of the light horsemen during World War 1 1914 -1918. He also had a twin brother named Joseph and they were related to the famous Sir Joseph Banks (some generations back) James Nicknamed his trusty horse Nugget.. Unfortunately their horses weren’t allowed to come back into the country when they returned home and had to be put down, which was very sad.
