Annie Austin
What a great shot, well snapped.
Annie Austin
I have been thinking about this.
He looks sad, and the props of the walking stick and park bench can suggest a poor old down and out, perhaps homeless man. Then I see the strong ironed seam on the trousers. This suggests well cared for, perhaps wealthy with the suit.
And I thought, this shouldn’t be contradictory in my head, as just because a person appears wealthy and well cared for doesn’t mean he can be any unhapplier than a homeless person..(???)
I think I know what I mean.
JudyBJ replied
thank you Annie for the insite .The truth is that i never realy try to write a script to what i see-i prefer the camera and the photo to talk for themselves. The only thing i know ,is after shooting something like this,i always know, even before looking in the computer, that this is “IT” for that day or hour
Chetan Raghuram

i absolutely love your candid shots of people on the street, it’s something that i wish that i could do, but there is something so interesting about catching a moment like this that almost allows you to see their soul
JudyBJ replied
there is no reason that you couldnt do it,it only takes little experience in teaching you eye to see and daring .
Thank you for the compliments
smvgrey
well i’m extremely shy about photographing people in public and without a bigger zoom lens..but i do hope someday to break out of that and try what i’ve always loved
JudyBJ replied
Just do it-there is nothing to be scared about
