Following my mother’s example, I have been taking photos since I was a teenager. These are my recent images that I’d like to share and see what other folks think of them. ;-)

To see her was to feel it again / whatever followed me as a child
It is nothing. / Just the sound of a 3-year-old / playing in the next room / holding court with invisible friends.
She won’t step into my house. / Hesitates / as if a blind jello barrier inhibits her progress / as if the room is full of smoke only she can see.
It would be easy to believe / it’s another perfectly good reason / to hate my physical self / But truth is, / it was never my body’s fault.
I am done writing pieces of endless desolation.
She was there every tiny step / every shrieking breath / I want her to remember and be proud.
