My ‘plan’ had noting to do w/ shooting this side of the boathouse. In fact, I wanted to shoot it from the complete opposite side of the lake. But once I got here, well before sunrise and using a handy dandy iPhone app, I decided the light would be better from here. For once I wasn’t running around like a maniac at the last minute trying to find a decent angle or cursing because I didn’t.

The silhouette of the boathouse works beautifully in the image, Joe. Love seeing the sun creating a glow on the bit of mist:) Sandy

  • The mist was a real bonus. Thanks a lot, seeya.
