When I’m out shooting paid assignments, I get so caught up in the details and technical aspects that I have trouble letting go and feeling comfortable. After a couple hours I settle down and start getting into a rhythm. Though, at the beginning of every shoot I’m quite nervous and full of self doubt. I have hopes that someday I won’t be anxious to the point of nausea before each shoot. Spending some time shooting for fun before the real gig has turned into a ritual for me. This was one of those times.
