Willow is just a beautiful Owl. His colors and marking are just fabulous. He is one of the most beautiful Barn Owls I have ever seen.

  • Willow appreciates your accolades. He did seem quite proud.

I have seen many owl picturs on RB but this one is one of the very best. A beautiful nature photograph.

  • Well now, THAT is a compliment. I don’t take it lightly. I have seen many fantastic owl pics on Rb as well, and want to thank you, that is very nice of you to say so. Sincerely, thank you!

Wow! What a beautiful owl!! We don’t have owls like that in Australia. Great capture!

ooooops, apparently we do have owls similar to this one in Australia, the Australian Masked Owl. Never seen or heard of one, but they exist. Yours is prettier.

  • Thanks Susan. While they are sometimes called an ‘American Barn Owl’, they are also called a ‘Common’ and ‘Typical’ Barn Owl as well. They may be wide spread and common, but I probably spent more time photog-ing him than the rest of the group, as I was just so fascinated by their facial features and bright white feathers.
