Jason Stengren

As of 2002, I am a long-term resident of Portland, Oregon, professional employee, DJ, and photographer.

I learned photography in college using my father’s hand-me-down camera – a Nikormat FT2 manual SLR camera. After becoming familiar with the ropes of photographic technique and principals, I decided to integrate my computer/design skills with this new hobby. Soon after, purchased my first digital camera, and found myself immersed in possibility. My style of photography reflects my taste in media – bent toward the surreal.
