The October light in Alaska is quite remarkable. The days are quickly growing shorter, as winter settles in—but, there’s still a fair amount of daylight. The sun hangs relatively low to the horizon, however. The frequent clouding over Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountains and the northern rim of the Kenai Peninsula can really work wonders with lighting. Fantastic.
