Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival 2009, Queensbury, NY

This balloon made it up through the mist into the clearing sky. The balloon almost looks superimposed onto the photograph with the contrast of the brightness and sharpness of it’s outline compared to the soft layered mist below.

thanks Miss Main! I was trying to call Fuzz yesterday to let him know that he wouldn’t have to get up early Sunday as they cancelled Sat afternoon and all day Sunday ‘cos of the weather…but I think you guys were out! :)

I’m 20 min from there and can never get up that early to shoot the morning lift off. Beautiful capture.

Mr. Barkeypf! You should try it one year – it is so worth it, even if just for the hot fluffly pancakes at breakfast in the airplane hangar..lol! Glad you like it..it was a great, if misty morning. :)
