My interests lie in the outdoors and photography. When I was young my father always had us boys out in woods, whether it be camping, fishing or hunting. For me, it would be a shame if I didn’t photograph the beautiful outdoors. I love showing my family the progression my pictures take with time and from learning new techniques. However, I do focus on a second theme that can show the intricacies of rural America and the outdoors. This theme is Rural Decay and it focuses on derelict and decrepit old buildings and other rustic objects in country towns. Structures, a more appropriate fitting than houses in some cases, that have been allowed to tarnish with years of abandonment. But despite how chaotic or worn the subject, a sense or artistic beauty surfaces. Redbubble, for me, will be used as a tool to engage with others and give constructive criticism on others artwork. This will be done in hopes that others will do the same for mine.
