Enter the arms of the dragon
Never give up your dreams
There are those who would defeat you
Even if it means their own demise
Revere the dragon for your own sake
Then allow it to rule your guided steps
Hope you’ll find to overcome
Every obstacle thrown before you
Delivering your soul is the dragon’s heart
Raining gifts to shower your needs
Alliance is all it asks for
Giving your heart for the chance to succeed
Obey the voice of the dragon
Never again to suffer defeat
This is an Acrostic poem. The letters going down from the first word of each line spells out a word or words. In this case the title of the poem are the words spelled out going down. Have fun with reading it.
Medically retired from the Army with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, I have travelled across the country until finally settling down in the mountains of NC. I have been seperated from my wife since 1996 and have become the best of friends ever since. I have written four books and hope to write 1/year from now on.
