Kratos is the power at the point of impact that leaves a mark. The best example of kratos is when a key of a typewriter strikes the ribbon and leaves a mark (letter, number, punctuation mark, etc). In writing or art the impact is what is made when something leaves a deep impression on the viewer/reader. If there is no mark, there is no kratos.
It is the kratos that I strive to achieve in everything I write. I so desire to leave an impact on the hearts and lives of the people who read my work. It is also what I look for in other people’s work. The best writers, the best artists, or the best photographers are those people who leave an impact on my life and I try to express my appreciation by leaving a comment behind. Most of the time it is only a word or two left to show that appreciation, but that’s only because I lack the discipline to be able to say more. Every now and then something strikes a cord within me that allows my heart to say more. That’s when the kratos is exceptionally strong.
There are so many people out there that I wish to explore, but there is only so much time that I have each day to do so. A lot of my time is wasted drifting off to neverneverland, but that is my personal charm in life. LOL I hope and pray that you don’t judge me too harshly if I don’t explore many of you out there. It is just a matter of time before I find you and be able to explore your riches in life.
