A moody shot. I love the lighting on the clouds in the background, and good use of flash in the foreground. There is a lot of darkness in the lower half that I find quite heavy, but I think that if there was more detail there it would detract from the flowers. Good work.

What a great angle, it is an interesting shot, the darkness makes for a moody atmosphere – in a good way – I really like the way the poppies are growing out of the rocks, what amazingly determined flowers!, also the lighting (sun?) on them is a fantastic effect.I love clouds & poppies, and these are both interesting formations in this pic,The contrasts,tones and depth are all great too, All in all a great image. Into my faves it goes…
