This one i did of my brother and sister-in-law. The bridge was separate and i had to use the quick mask mode(for those who know photoshop) and then paste them into the bridge. Took some time, but it worked!!
IMHO you should focus more on what you are trying to achieve Jo. A nice as it is, this photo does not rank as one of your best. There are some weaknesses with it: the couple don’t have any shadows. Look at the shadows under the bridge etc and you will see that the light is coming from the left. Look again at the couple and you will see no shadows. This gives ‘it away’ as a montage. I would recommend removing the image and perhaps going through your other images on the site to filter out the ones that aren’t up to your best standard. The site owners say that they only want folk to place their very best images, ones they are proud of, on the site. Ask yourself those two questions about each of your images and then decide which ones to remove. I don’t want to discourage you as I think you have great potential. You just need to focus on your strengths and develop them further so that you will the very best you can be.
Maybe someone else can pitch in with their advice so that we can encourage Jo and help her to improve her talent?
Well, I wasn’t going to keep this one on, but someone favorited it so I didn’t want to take it off. I hadn’t done photo composition in a few years so this took me long to complete. It gives it away as a montage because i put Photo composition for the title so they know they weren’t really there. I don’t really know how to do shadow behind but maybe one day i will know how to do it, but as for now i feel like it looks good. thanks though.
