Black Clouds : Stream of Consciousness 6 by JPunko

The fear of not knowing fate overcomes the fear that everything you choose is a product of fate.
As these two fears intertwine through your brain, your mind becomes mystified by thoughts of predetermination versus existentialism. Does one really ever know which fear is irrational and which should be a common fear, like the common cold, everyone experiences it. Except for those few enlightened free thinkers that are void of fear. It is this intensive source of will power that we must examine, reproduce and master in order to survive and conquer these fears that will continue to haunt young and old minds alike. To buy into the conformity and comfort o religion is to settle for a convenience rather that strive for an aspect of truth. It is this “follow the leader,” pseudo Sheppard bullshit that captures thousands of misguided and ill taught minds. Though freedom of thought is tricky, too. The idea that “God” may or may not exist, and that one can’t know the truth until his own demise; these shrilling ideas waft in despair and convert poor unfortunate souls, stealing their mind. I will say here and now I would rather face the awfulness of eternal damnation that to give away my years of questions and radical streams of conscious. I will always fear the forced and crave the details of the unknown. Myths and fantasies draw my attention with mystifying intensity… but nothing is more seductive than dancing through my thoughts and auditioning ideas for suggestive truth. I shall never know a more tempting desire than that of free thought.

Black clouds swirling around me
Purple bolts of lightening
Roars of thunder echo
Eyes entrapped by the moon
Mind and body separate
Illumination of soul
