New Life, Belfast, Sep 2004
Taken at the so-called ‘Belfast Wall’ (cf. Berlin Wall). I found Belfast an uneasy city, tied and unwilling to let go of past injustices. The words ‘new life’ painted on the wall sum up my hopes for the city and to me are a small ray of hope and optimism in a landscape of bleakness.

Great streetscape – love the shot and message behind it. Nice work!
