I believe in so much more

I do not believe that God is an old man who lives in a paradise in the sky
Who gets angry when you are naughty and is happy when you are good
I do not believe in conventional religion.
I believe that God is so much more.

I do not believe that our governments act in our own best interest at all times
that they have our agenda as human beings at the forefront of their methodology or have a care for our life referance frame and time.
I believe our governments and the people in them could do more.

I do not believe in social prejudice, each of us should be measured through the actions of our humanity, that is our own kind.
Though many of us are found in different places, different settings and different homes. I believe with communication, understanding and tolerance our society could be so much more.

I do not believe in patriarchal values nor in matriarchal rule
for one to command the other in absolute does not harmony produce
Only through combined and concerted efforts in cohesion of man and woman combined, can we reach a place of balance with no more great divide.
Sole genders are not to blame nor collectivly condemn when the focus is taken off difficulties from the past and pointing fingers in accusation. Understanding can grow and clear languages be learned. Two people working together making decisions, one language combined, willingly. Then I believe there will be balance between women and men.

I believe in so much more by JP100

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day and the conversation covered many topics and beliefs. People came into and out of the conversation my father and mother and even my son at times as ten year olds are want to do. the premise and the overall areas covered are outlined in the writing I have put into these four paragraphs.
Because of my slightly different point of view in todays society (I come from a matriarchal family and background and grew up reading philosophy conversing with others from many different cultures and religions and faiths in depth and learning as much as i can every day which i still do, not only from texts but also the school of everyday life)
People at times have come to ask my opinion on faith and the world and other people in general as my perspectives can be very different from the norm. this little bit of light prose is not an exercise in deep theology, divine mechanics or the foundations of government, society and the human race as a collective whole. just a refined point of view to stimulate thought and offer a different perspective without getting to heavy and in depth.

I agree with a lot of this and that’s just about anyone could hope for I suppose! ;) I remember a well spoken phrase that’s a little too absolute for my liking but it goes: “If two men (should be people but that’s how I read it) agree on everything then you can be sure that one is doing all the thinking for both of them.”
