Thank you all for the wonderfull comments and feedback. Im not sure if there is any deeper psychological meaning to it beyond what is already shown, to only reveal half of the face could be done as a defence or to encourage a curiosity to discover what more is there in the unseen, not fully revealing all of yourself for all to see keeping some part of you in the quiet privacy of your inner sanctuary for only you. Are you curious? do you want to know more? and then discovering once you see the whole face that its a persons actions that can really define who they are and who you see, not just there face which although it generally does speak a thousand words in its expressions can be made into a facade to hide behind then the eyes will reveal all. Is it seduction? is it a defence? or is it just a game played hiding half a face?

I always do half faces because I can’t ever get both the eyes to look the same lol… just thought I would share that random bit of info…

lol i remember when i was in school i had that problem, i would put all this effort into my drawings and wonder why they didnt line up correctly so i ended up with lots of half faces so deeply worked on and my teachers and friends though i was being creative, i wasnt game to tell them my compositional balance was out so i filled up the other half of the piece with all sorts of things from leaves and vines to flowing hair i just tried everything to make the work look “cool” or awesome and it actually led to some really amazing works and helped me grow alot as an artist, thinking back i still get a laugh when i think about my earlier years drawing and the fantastic things i tried to get to mesh on paper ah the joy and im still going strong now. Thanks for the feedback and the comments.
