Nature: a crocodile(Crocodylus niloticus)interacted with lion (Panthera leo) cub at prides 2 day old buffalo kill.The 3 lionesses of the pride then challenged the crocodile who did not back off and paid for that decision with his life canon rebel eos and canon 75 -300 mm lens although one of these two lionesses shown here was injured. Taken at duba plains,okavango delta,botswana at 135mm f 6.3 1/200s iso100.This was an extremely rare wildlife experience,a special moment and a once in a life time experience.

Right place at the right time……wow! What an opportunity for a great shot!!!! Great capture!
Ruth it was indeed right place and right time,the episode lasted 15 minutes and was witnessed only by three of us,our guide,my son and I.fortunately my son and I were able to capture it ,as very few people will see lions kill a crocodile,including most rangers in their lifetime.
