22 × 30″ Watercolor painting on 300 lb Arches paper.

While sitting on the patio having lunch at a local restaurant, I was completely surrounded by both the red rock wonder of Sedona, as well as a flower garden that was so beautiful that it was almost breathtaking. I knew I had to wait for the right lighting and return to try and capture what I was seeing. When I did, there was just enough wind that the dahlias were doing a little dance, almost bringing them to life.
