This is what I aspire to Joyce. I would love to be able to draw with this kind of looseness while capturing all the essential details. The perspectives are perfect. Her hands, for instance, are detailed enough to show the grip on the paintbrush without a lot of “fussing”. Her expression is clearly conveyed, again without a lot of fussy detail. And that hair! Just a wonderful drawing that really does capture her intensity…how focused she is on her painting. Glad they featured this so I could see it. I’ll be looking at your portfolio and you are definitely on my watchlist!
