My work is generally preoccupied by two forces, lines (whether they be drawn, painted, written, or implied) and the moment. I take great inspiration from southwestern, Latin American, and South American motifs as well as the wonder that is magical realism.

Had I known / you would sit on my arms / and tickle the space between kisses / I would have run / to the other side of the street. There the pavement seems even.
slight rustling of wind / buried across / my thought
minutes stretch between words / motion sublimated to sound / you breathe as one not living
