This was early Morning and the mist was still on the Niger river. I watched as This young boy landed on the banks to unload his few fish. This is near the ferry terminal, is just a muddy bank. Along the sides are stall holders setting up their wares to sell to passers bye.

I counted 5 fish, that he had caught. fish stock is very low now and these children have to work extremely hard just to make enough money for their family.

I wont forget this morning as It moved me with compassion to see how hard it is for these precious poor people just to survive. They have no interest in the world, with its wars, financial crisis or the price of fuel. All they do is struggle to get enough to eat. Please pry for me and the Philadelphia Mission Charity as we reach out t help those in desperate need.
