There are moments on mission work that I meet a very special child that stays in my memory and heart. Collins is one boy I will never forget. He filled my heart with love and compassion. This child like many here in extreme poverty inspires and motivates me and the Mission team to never stop reaching out to those in need.
His smile and gentle nature warmed my heart. Collins is currently cared for by his aged grandmother who when we arrived to check on Collins, was out looking for casual work.
He was alone outside in the small village sitting with the Chickens. he looked lonely and withdrawn. We waited until a member of our teem found his grandmother who came home not finding any casual work. She was weak in body and was so happy to see us. We provide a small amount of money each month for her and Collins, yet its barely enough. Our budget is low and God knows we desire to help even more.
Collins is left alone very often as his grandmother cannot take him to work yet as Collins is just 3 years old. Please Pray for Collins and us that we can raise more money to send Collins to nursery school and provide more help for Collins and his grandmother.
