Taken while waiting for the ferry to cross the river Nigar in Remote Nigeria, aged 12 years old, this child vendor has been selling peanuts since she was old enough to walk and carry her goods.
Abused, and facing many difficult challenges every day, she stands here at the jetty looking for someone to buy her little packets of peanuts. I found out she barely makes a $1 per day, and ion some cases less that 60 cents. Her money goes to her mother who struggles to provide for her 3 younger siblings.
She has never gone to school. Please help us at Philadelphia Mission to reach out and provide care for these precious children. Pray, and support us in what we do as we serve God in reaching out to these very needy children and their whole families in rural and remote villages in Africa and India.
[My Passion in life and inspiration comes from life itself, and the bravery and strength these precious children show in the face of extreme poverty].
