While waiting to cross the Niger River to continue our journey to remote Tunga/Zuga Village. These tow young boys approached me on the bank.
I found out they were fishing and caught 6 fish, mostly small. This will always stay in my memory as I had a wonderful time as they told me of the troubles, as they called them that they face every day.
We laughed and asked me so many questions about where I come from and what it was like there. As I told them about London , its red buses, tube trains and where Queen Elizabeth lived, they were so enthralled with it all. I had a to show them photographs I had on my Lap top and when they seen the big skyscraper buildings, red buses and London Bridge they were really excited. My interpretor also was bewildered to see a Big Bridge that took people over the river.
