I’m only a little butterfly and some
Think I’m not important.
It’s true I cannot build a ship and
Sail across a sea. I cannot speak,
Read or write, nor can I do what you
Do, but God has painted me with
Colours that he alone did choose.
I carry his Glory everywhere I go,
So when you look at me, remember that
It was God who coloured me.

*The butterfly*

This is my first attempt at poetry

That is so beautiful. God has created us all unique, and yet in his glorious image, using “the colours that he alone did choose”.
