NIV, 1 John 3:17. If anyone has material possessions and
sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the
love of God be in him?
Deut 15: 7 “If there be among you a poor man of your
brethren, within your land which the Lord your God is giv-
ing you, You shall not harden your heart nor shut up
your hand from him”.
V8 “You shall open your hand wide to him and willingly
lend him sufficient for his need whatever he needs”.
V10 “You shall surely give him, and your heart should no
be grieved when you give to him, BECAUSE OF THIS
THING THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL BLESS YOU
IN ALL YOUR WORKS AND IN ALL THAT YOU
PUT YOUR HAND TO”
