"Open Our Eyes Lord" 2 kings 6:15-17

(2Ki 6:14) So he sent there horses and carriages and a great army; and they came by night, circling the town.

(2Ki 6:15) Now the servant of the man of God, having got up early and gone out, saw an army with horses and carriages of war all round the town. And the servant said to him, O my master, what are we to do?

(2Ki 6:16) And he said in answer, Have no fear; those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

(2Ki 6:17) Then Elisha made a prayer to the Lord, saying, Lord, let his eyes be open so that he may see. And the Lord made the young man’s eyes open; and he saw that all the mountain was full of horses and carriages of fire round Elisha.

Here we see the Children of Israel surrouned by a great Army from Syria. They were greatly out-numbered. Their enemy had surronded them. They were unable to go in any direction. But I want to shere with you a deep revelation about this situation, that Will encourage all who are finding themselves Oppressed, attacked and harrassed by situations, cercumstances and the enemy [The Devil].

The servant of Elisa woke up early and saw this great army, and as he looked at the many charriots, men with swords, shilds and others with different weapons. The number was great. So he went to Elisa Gods prophet and said Our enimy has outnumbered us, and they have many chariots. He asked the man of God, “What are we going to do?

There is no escape, no way out. There were not enough of them to defeat the enimy.

Now the servant of Elisa is like many Christians today. He saw with his natural eyes. His natural senses kicked in and sight and hearing said to him they are many, we cannot escape. I hear them and i see the multitude of them.

Often when we are faced with challanges and situations, we react to how we feel see and hear in the natural. this leads to us acting in ways that cause the cercumstances and situations to empower us.

But What Did Elisha see? He saw the armies of God all around him on the mountains and hills, with wheels of fire. he saw as God saw. He saw as the Holy Spirit enlightened his eyes and understanding to hear and see in the Spiritual realm.

This is why he could say to his servant “Have no fear; those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
the elisha prayed “Lord, let his eyes be open so that he may see!
And Then when the Lord opened his eyes, He saw a different scene. Now he was seeing in the Spiritual rhealm, not the physical realm.
He saw the mighty armies of God, with countless chariots, with weels of fire. He saw waht was really there.

Now Elisa, Isaiah, David and the great men of old saw and did great feats becasue they could see in the spiritual, not just this nphysical realm.
But If you ahve given your heart to Jesus, and asked him into your heart, then you are greater that those of the old testament. The moment you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, You received the Holy Spirit. These mighty men of God never had the Holy Spirit living inside them. They could only accomplish great acts and mioracles as the Holy Spirit came upon them. Like Samson. He could only do great acts of strength, as God impowered him.

But you as His child have been through the Blood that Jesus shed for you. Angels look at you with awe, because you have been redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus. Angels were and are created. You have been born again of incorruptable seed.

Joh 14:17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you.

When Jesus said dwells with you, he was speaking of the Holy Spirit living with them then. But when he says he shall live in you, he was speaking af a future time. That time started when he died and rose again. The comforter has come, The teacher that hears and sees all things now dwells in the heart of every person who as personally received Jesus as Lord, and Saviour.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

Rom 8:9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God dwells in you. Noteice Gods word tells us that were are in the spirit, if the spirit of God dwells in us.

1Co 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Now you may ask what this has to do with Elisha? the ansswer is simple. If Elisha, Abraham and the other mighty men and woman of God could see, as the Psirit of God came on them, How much more then should you who are spirit filled see in the realms of the spirit?

You are a spirit being!!. Your body was created to house your spirit. Your Body is the Temple of God. The God life dwells in you, and you are his Body here on earth. You Have the life of God in you, living in you.

Gal 5:16 I say, then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Know who you are!!!

Rev 1:5-6 Even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
:6 AND MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS to God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Notice here that God has made you kings and priests already. This is not something that has yet to happen. If you could only see yourself as God sees you. You are his King, AND KINGS DON’T BEG!
Ecc 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power.

Beloved, Know who you are in Christ.
Know that You are.

GOD HAS ALREADY MADE YOU RICH!
1Co 4:8 Already you are full! Already you are rich! You have reigned as kings without us!

YOU ARE VICTORIOUS ALL THE TIME!
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 8:37 But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.

WE CANNOT FAIL!
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Everu Challange you face, Every battle, every dissapointment, every stressful experience you face my friend, GOD TURNS TO YOUR GOOD! Trials and difficult times are a doorway for God to promote you to a higher level of Grace and Power and victory.

YOU CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED!
Isa 54:17 NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.

Now beloved. When Elisha Prayed and God opened the eyes of his servant, so as to see when the enimy came. He saw the armies of God all around him.

You to can see in the realms of the Holy Spirit. Whenyou face a challange, trial, or face a need, just follow these simple steps to guaranteed victory.

1. When you face a need in your life, family or business.

Pray and ask God according to his promise to meet that need. Then Confess the word of God out every day. No more begging. you are Gods king. You have power in your tongue.
Example: Phillapians 4:19- Psalm 23:1 Speak the word of God out. God will aleays honour your confession made in line with =his word and spoken in Faith.

2. When Sickness or disease comes against you!

Remember that Your Body is Gods Temple. The Holy Spirit lives in you!. No disease or weapon can overcome you, whe you know who you are, and the authority you have in Christ.
1Pe 2:24 He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; BY WHOES STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED.
Jesus already paid the price, so you can live in divine health! It’s a done work. Rebuke the symptoms in Jesus name. See them dissapear..See yourself as God sees you. Already healed.

God said to Joshua, SEE! Gen: 13:14-17
God said to Abram ALL THAT YOU SEE, i will give it to you! Jos:6:2

Speak the words out. If you see yourself in Gods word, tha=en that is you. If you see what you want in Gods word, Claim it as your legal inheritance in Christ, Then agree with God that your are his son/Daughter, and thank God for granting what you see.

Elisha’s Prayer is also my prayer for you. Lord Open the yees of all your children to see just how rich you have already made them, on the day they received you as Lord and Saviour. Lead them into that great inheritance, so that your Glory may be seen in all your people. In Jesus name I pray.
