This is a message the Lord God has laid deep in my heart to with all who have experienced or indeed experiencing mental illness.
No matter what the battlle or challange you are facing, Please read this as it is Gods word for you right now.
*God has made you to live in Victory* belongs to the following groups:
Everyday Life, Living Christianity and Spiritual ArtThis is a response to aprecious friend who has experienced Mental illness. As I began to pray for this person, I reflected on the time i to was suffering from mental illness.
If there be anyone out there in Bubbleland who has or is experiencing mental illness or depression, then this is for you. Her what the spirit of God is saysing to you today.
FACE YUR BATTLE, KNOWING THAT GOD HAS ALREADY PLACED YOU IN A PLACE OF ADVANTAGE AND VICTORY.
I Used be to on All sorts of drugs for Bi-Polor Disease, which in my Younger days led to am mental hospital. I was on Amytrypteline, Sodium volpurite, High doses of other drugs as well. I been to Doctors and had even electric shock treatment. All in vain. When I became born again in 1986, rather that things become better, the devil actually stepped up his satanic attacks on my Mind. I would cry for hours, feel absolutely useless, unloved and unwanted. I became a recluse from my own family for 6 months.
I would pray and hope that God would some day set me free. What I did not know I was already set free by Jesus when I became born again.
When Jesus, said on the cross, “IT IS FINISHED ”, He achieved what god had sent him to do. He came to destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Then the breakthrough came in my life.
I knew that the devil hated my new walk with God, and that he was trying to steal the joy of my new relationship with Jesus. I was fully aware that he would use situations, even certain sounds and smells, words that others would say, to bring on an attack of depression.
My Friend here is the word of God that set me free.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
The Holy Spirit made this very much alive in me. I was in Christ. I received him as my Lord and saviour. Now as I am in Christ, God told me that the old man, the old sick mentally weak and tormented man was destroyed by the blood of Jesus. My past was washed away, My old sinful nature was dealt with and God Made me a new creation. A Brand new man. I saw myself as how God sees me. His new creation. I was born again!. Not of flesh and Blood, No! This time I was born of God. I became his son when I received Jesus into my heart.
Look at this and insert you name into this scripture below.
1Jn 5:4 For _ is born of God and has overcome the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
We are overcomers. We have already overcome the devil and the things he may use to attack us.
Gal 4:6. *, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
1Jn 3:1. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, *that we should be called the sons of God.
You are strong my friend. Even at times you may not feel it in your natural senses. Your emotions may not feel you are strong, nor your thoughts, But God say you are. Why?
Answer: Because he has made you an overcomer already. He has made you a Conqueror!.
He has gone beyond making you a conqueror. You are more than a Conqueror.
Rom 8:37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
This means we have not only conquered the enemy. Evil and sad thoughts, Inferior and negative thoughts, or indeed anything from the enemy, WE COME OUT WITH THE SPOILS OF WAR. What I mean is this. You become even stronger and greater and more experienced, because you have conquered the enemy and gained great Knowledge and experience of The Word of God at work in your life.
No matter what you have gone through, No matter what the enemy has done or seeks to do, You are more than a Conqueror. Every weapon of the enemy that he has formed against you HAS FAILED. Why?
Answer: Rom 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Because you are Born again, of God, He turns all things to your good.
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Satan has already lost the battle; Because Jesus destroyed him when he rose from the dead. He made you a victor because he has brought you into his victory and wealth.
Every day, confess these words of God. Your Body is Gods temple. You have the life of God in you. Nothing can bring you down. See yourself as the person God says you are.
1Co 6:19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
The Holy Ghost Lives inside you and that is what makes you a strong and Mighty Conqueror!.
I have never been ill, Depressed or Conqueror in 15 years, since the Lord revealed the Miracle that took place when I became born again. You are Victorious my Friend. Can you see that now?
