Tunga/Zuga village. kebbe State. Nigeria.
I just came across this child, early in the Morning. I lived 1 week in the village, as I do in most villages. So Much disease and poverty. No clean water, very little food, and almost all the children cannot attend school, as they cannot afford school fees, uniform, and text books.
Chronic Malnutrition, River blindness, Intestinal worn infection plus Rickets is rampant here. Yet The Philadelphia Mission is making a positive change, thanks to precious friends here on RB. We really do need you to purchase art, or make a donation to help us help many more children in great need.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, PLUS DONATIONS MADE TO PHILADELPHIA MISSION CHARITY, GOES TO HELP EXTREME POOR AND SICK IN REMOTE AND RURAL VILLAGES IN AFRICA. WE NEVER TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF YOUR GIVING. ALL CHARITY OVERHEADS ARE COVERED BY OUR MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS.

Hi, I’m Trevor Irwin, a Missionary to neglected, sick and dying people in desert central Africa.
I formed and run thePhiladelphia Charity Mission,
which is a Registered Charity monitored by The British Charity Commission. [Reg No: 1049410].
We do not discriminate for any reasons, not creed, nor color, nor financial standing, nor political, nor tribal standing.
While we serve anyone in need, I myself am a Christian, and these villagers are my sheep. Many miracles have happened in the name of Jesus, and many have come to trust in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Beautiful child. Great photo

However poor they may be, measured by our standards of wasteful riches, look at the love reflected in the beautiful way the child is looked after: Hair in immaculate braids, little ear rings dangling, clean lovely dress…and already imbued with the spirit of co-operation.
Great image…Bert

Dear Trevor,
This photograph reminds me of my recent time (April, May this year) in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya & Tanzania. We visited some villages during our time visiting our 3 sponsored children in Uganda & Rwanda, plus during our holiday time in Kenya & Zanzibar. The children, in particular, really warmed my heart. Thank you for the work that you are doing with the poor children in Aftica & India. May God bless you & the wonderful ability that He has given you to take such magnificant photos.
