The Good Shepherd.
Taken while traveling through remote Nigeria in Niger Delta Region.
This young boy came running towards our vehicle and we stopped for a welcome break, after 7 hours of bumpy dusty tracks. He wanted to sell us one of his animals. I felt so sorry for him, that I give him what he asked, after being told by one of our Missionary guides he had asked the going price. I refused to take his animal, as I felt we had enough food, and he looked so thin.
After this he insisted that I should visit his settlement. After much persuasion with the team We did. None had heard about Jesus and his Love. All received Jesus as Lord. We also were able to give multi-vitamin tablets to the senior elder, and he promised to give each one a Tablet every day. It was a blessing. We now have a Local Missionary who visits the settlement each week.

What an amazing story. Praise God! Thank you for your comments a few months ago. I was travelling for a few months and haven’t checked or updated my site since now. All your photos are wonderful. I love Africa. I was recently in Tanzania for 3 weeks and it was much less friendly than Uganda. I think it is because it is mostly a Muslim country. Zanzibar needs to be reached!

Marie, this is indeed a wonderful Blessing, to have my work featured in “For the Love of Jesus Group”. Three years ago I was really ready to give up the Humanitarian side of our mission and focus purely on Evangelism and Church planting in these remote villages. I was struggling personally Financially and the Charity also with Lack of Finances. I asked God to Build me an army of people, Like Gideon in the bible. People who would Pray, Sow seed and whom God would personally choose, to bless and strengthen my hand in his work. Today God opened up a door through Red bubble and has built me a hand-picked army of precious friends who Pray and support his work in reaching out to the poor.
You are one of Gods Chosen and blessed ones and I thank God for you. I pray God will indeed continue to lead you and your family into all that he has laid up for you.
(Ruth 2:12) “May the LORD reward you for what you have done. May you have a full reward from the LORD God of Israel, to whom you have come for protection!”.
